iTero Scanner

The iTero scanner creates a precise 3D digital model of your teeth and bite without the discomfort of traditional impression trays. There’s no putty, no gagging, and no waiting for molds to set. The scan takes just a few minutes chairside and gives Dr. Wire a detailed, accurate picture of your anatomy from the very start of treatment.

Because the digital model is captured and available immediately, Dr. Wire can review your records the same day and begin building a treatment plan with complete information in hand. For patients considering clear aligner therapy, the iTero also allows us to show you a digital preview of how your teeth are expected to move over the course of treatment — so you can have an informed, visual conversation about your options before anything is decided.

For younger patients or anyone with anxiety about dental appointments, the absence of traditional impressions is a small but meaningful difference. It’s the kind of detail that doesn’t make headlines, but tends to get mentioned when patients describe their experience here.

Pan/Ceph X-Ray Machine

Our in-office Pan/Ceph machine captures two types of diagnostic imaging that are standard in orthodontic treatment planning. A panoramic X-ray gives a broad view of all the teeth, roots, and surrounding bone structure in a single image — useful for identifying developing teeth, evaluating root positions, and spotting anything that needs attention before treatment begins. A cephalometric X-ray captures the full profile of the skull and jaw, which is essential for evaluating jaw relationships and planning treatments that involve jaw surgery or significant bite correction.

Having this imaging available in-office means your diagnostic records are taken in a single visit, rather than requiring a separate appointment at an imaging center. Dr. Wire reviews the films directly, and they become part of your complete file from day one — referenced throughout your treatment and available if your general dentist or an oral surgeon needs them down the line.

For patients pursuing more involved treatment, like jaw surgery coordination or complex bite correction, this kind of detailed baseline imaging isn’t optional — it’s the foundation everything else is built on.
